SLJ Practice activity

Special Meals

My favorite meal is a Green Thai Chicken Curry. I like it because it has green beans and they are one of my favorite vegetables. You can also put different herbs in it for something different. You can also have bread or pizza base with it. I am not a great cook so the Green Thai Chicken Curry is good for me. It is quick and easy to make.   This photo is from Wikipedia. What is your favorite meal?

  1. Kia ora Nevaeh!

My name is Mikey. I'm a part of the Summer Learning Journey team and I'll be commenting on some of your blog posts this summer. I'm so pleased that you've done one of last years activities as a a practice post. It's a great way to set yourself up for this year. :)

Yum! Green curry is delicious, isn't it? It's one of my favourite Thai dishes as well. Do you have it often? What is your favourite sweet treat? Or do you prefer savoury foods?

Remember to check out the Summer Learning Journey website and have a go at some of this years teaser activities. The programme officially starts next Monday (December 16th) and I'd love to see more posts from you. :)

    Bye for now,

    Mikey

    1. Hey Mikey,
Thank you for your comment. I am really excited to start the Summer Learning Journey!

My mum did a Thai food course so she learned how to make a lot of different curries and dishes. So we do have it often enough. My favourite sweet treat is apple crumble and my favourite savoury food is a vege pizza! What are your favourite foods.

Thanks again for your comment. Have a great day!

    2. Mōrena Nevaeh,

You are more than welcome. :)

Oh wow, that's awesome! Does she teach you how to make them too?

Yum! Those are great favourite food choices. Do you make either of those dishes at home? Hmm... that's a tough question but I think I'd have to choose dumplings as my favourite food. For the moment anyway. :)

      Have a great day, Nevaeh.

      Merry Christmas! :)

      Mikey
